Caprese Salad Skewers

What You'll Need:

24 grape tomatoes

12 cherry-size fresh mozzarella cheese balls

24 fresh basil leaves

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons white or brown sugar

¼ c. balsamic vinegar

Wooden skewers


In a small saucepan, add sugar and balsamic vinegar. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool completely.

Take wooden skewers and trim to needed length. Add tomatoes, basil leaves, and mozzarella balls in an alternating pattern as desired. Arrange skewers in cups and drizzle with olive oil and cooled balsamic reduction.

Serving 10 charcuterie cups
